The Lawrence County Board met Wednesday and formally introduced two new agency directors recently hired.
Ryan Holdrith is the new director of the Lawrence County Ambulance Service. He is a native of Sumner who now resides in Claremont in neighboring Richland County. He has an extensive background in EMS services and the medical industry and has been on the job now for about 3 weeks assessing needs and transitioning into the new position.
Zac Cavender is the new E-911 Director. He is a local resident who has worked at the Lawrence County Jail for the last 8 years as a dispatcher and has always looked at advancing in the law enforcement communications area. He has only been on the job for less than a week and indicated to GIANT-FM News that he is looking to continue the advancements being made by the E-911 Board.
The board also approved the reappointment of Robert Andrews to a 3-year-term as trustee of the Christy Fire Protection District.
