The Knox County Chamber of Commerce has issued a statement that says that Jamie Neal is resigning her position as president of the organization.
During her 8-year tenure, the Knox County Chamber experienced tremendous growth and success. Membership tripled under her leadership, and she was responsible for the creation of a number of beneficial and value-added programs that supported local businesses.
in 2021, the Knox County Chamber was named as the Indiana Chamber of the Year and Neal herself was honored as the Indiana Chamber Executive of the Year.
Neal is leaving to accept a new professional opportunity which will be announced later. Her final day will be Friday, January 23rd. A search committee has been formed to coordinate the effort to find her replacement.
