Plymouth Police arrest a Nappanee woman after a License Plate Reader camera notified officers in the department of a driver with an outstanding warrant.

The LPR notification Wednesday night, October 23rd advised city officers that a female with a warrant out of Elkhart County was driving near Plymouth.  Officer Wallace located the suspect’s vehicle near the intersection of U.S. 30 and Queen Road.

The occupant was identified as Tamara McGuire, 53, from Elm Street in Nappanee. McGuire was taken into custody on the active warrant and was transported to the Marshall County Jail. While being processed into the jail, it was discovered that McGuire had narcotic paraphernalia hidden within her body.

Tamara McGuire was booked into the Marshall County Jail for pending charges of possession of paraphernalia and trafficking with an inmate. She was given a court date in Marshall Superior Court III and a cash bond of $1,500. McGuire is also being held for the active warrant via Elkhart County with no bond.
