Morristown man arrested for Child Exploitation and Possession of Child Pornography

The Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force arrested Erik Scott Reed, of Morristown, Indiana, Wednesday on five counts of Child Exploitation, two counts of Child Exploitation, five counts of Possession of Child Pornography, and six counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

On Thursday, the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force served arrest warrants on three individuals in reference to a child exploitation investigation in Greenfield, Ind.

Stephanie Reeves was arrested for six counts of Sexual Misconduct with a minor, two counts of Sexual Misconduct with a minor, two counts of Incest, one count of Bestiality, two counts of Child Exploitation, nine counts of Child Exploitation, one count of Child Exploitation, two counts of Dissemination of Matter Harmful to Minors, one count of Child Solicitation, one count of Vicarious Sexual Gratification, and one count of Attempted Possession of Child Pornography.

Anthony Strahl was arrested for one count of Vicarious Sexual Gratification, one count of Aiding Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, two counts of Aiding Bestiality, two counts of Child Exploitation, and two counts of Child Exploitation.

April Brown was arrested for five counts of Bestiality, and one count of Aiding Bestiality.

Reed, a resident of Morristown, was investigated by the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force after receiving a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Detectives with the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force served search warrants on social media accounts belonging to Reed which contained numerous files with child exploitation material. A warrant was issued for 18 counts of Child Exploitation and Possession of Child Pornography, and he was arrested and taken to the Shelby County Jail.

Reeves, Strahl and Brown, all residents of Greenfield, were investigated by the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force after receiving a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Detectives with the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force served search warrants on social media accounts and multiple residences during the investigation and discovered numerous files with child sexual exploitation material. A warrant was issued for the three individuals for a total of 42 felony charges.

All three individuals were arrested and taken to the Hancock County Jail.

The task force is headquartered in the Fishers Police Department and comprised of detectives from Greenfield, Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, Hamilton County Sheriff, Madison County Sheriff, and the Department of Homeland Security.

The task force focuses on internet crimes against children and investigates child exploitation cases in Hamilton, Hancock, Madison and Tipton counties.
