The city of Bridgeport, the Bridgeport Fire Protection District and the Red Hill Unit #10 School District have announced a planned mock traffic accident later in September in Bridgeport.
The accident training drill is scheduled for Monday, September 29th in the Red Hill Junior/Senior High School parking lot and will involve local emergency service and law enforcement agencies. It is being held to raise student awareness about safe driving practices. A similar exercise was held last school year at Lawrenceville High School.
The public is asked to stay away from the area when the drill takes place. Additional details will be released as the date draws closer.
