The search for a Knox man previously reported missing earlier this week has concluded after he was located deceased on Wednesday.
Social media posts originally circulated reporting that Marvin “Dan” Daniel Rudd was last seen driving a 2024 Kia Forte GT Line in Knox around 3:30am on Sunday, Sept. 21.
In an effort to help locate Rudd, friends and family met on Tuesday morning at Wythogan Park in Knox to coordinate their search efforts. On Wednesday Rudd's vehicle was reportedly discovered after witnesses noticed tracks leading off of a roadway in Starke County. Witness reports indicate it appeared the vehicle may have struck a tree after missing a curve.
Rudd's family took to social media to express their gratitude for the support offered by the community as they searched for Rudd.
