Plymouth Police were dispatched to an unknown issue at 816 West Jackson Street on Tuesday morning, August 6th at 4 o’clock.
City officers determined that two males were involved in an altercation. The cause of the altercation was the result of one male entering the bedroom of another and photographing the second male and his girlfriend nude during an intimate act.
The suspect was identified as Reynaldo Martinez-Gutierrez, 26, who lives at the Jackson Street address in Plymouth. It was alleged that Martinez-Gutierrez made threatening statements to the female that he was going to send the photographs to her family.
Reynaldo Martinez-Gutierrez was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Jail for battery and voyeurism.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
