Marshall County Auditor Angie Birchmeier is pleased to inform the residents of Marshall County that the codification project has been completed through American Legal Publishing, and all ordinances are now available online.
Auditor Birchmeier worked closely with American Legal Publishing for over a year to complete this project. Transparency is crucial, and this will allow the public and any interested party to view the ordinances online.
Following the Commissioner's approval of Ordinance 2024-19, Enacting Code of Ordinances, the following link, https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/marshallcountyin, will be available on the County’s website. This opportunity allows for searching by subject in the same fashion as the Indiana State Legislature.
As ordinances are approved, they will be forwarded to American Legal Publishing, and they will be updated annually. As a reminder, all ordinances are available in the Auditor’s office located in the Marshall County Building, 112 W. Jefferson Street, Room 205, Plymouth. Our hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the public is welcome.
Residents can call the Auditor’s Office at 574-935-8555 with any questions or concerns.
