Wednesday afternoon, the Heartland Art Center shared details about an upcoming education opportunity for local arts entrepreneurs: The Marshall County Artrepreneurship Program (MCAP).
MCAP is an eight-week educational program for local artists who wish to establish their own businesses and generate revenue from their work. To be eligible for MCAP, applicants must reside in Marshall, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Starke, Pulaski, Fulton, or Kosciusko.
This program is designed for individuals who are seeking to, or already are, pursue revenue from their original, visual creative work. No prior business knowledge is needed to apply.
The application will open on November 1, and the program will run from February through April at Heartland Art Center.
