The Marshall County Historical Society is seeking donations of items for their annual fundraising Sidewalk Sale on July 11th, 12th and 13th.
All the downtown merchants will be holding sidewalk sales next month and the Marshall County Museum uses this event to help raise funds for programming and archival supplies.
There are a wide variety of items that sell well during the fundraising Sidewalk Sale including antiques and unique items. Small furniture items such as end tables and plant stands are acceptable items along with those that have some historical significance like promotional items from former businesses in the county.
Other items being collected include toys, puzzles, books, records, musical instruments, and holiday decorations. You can also donate glassware, knick-knacks, small working appliances, housewares and tools. The museum won’t take clothing.
You can drop off your donations at the Marshall County Museum at the corner of Michigan and Garro Streets Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
