State Rep. Beau Baird (R-Greencastle) welcomed local students from Putnam and Montgomery counties to the Statehouse where they participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2026 legislative session.
"Some of the best public servants started out by just showing up and paying attention," Baird said. "The page program is where your curiosity can turn into engagement."
Area students serving as pages during the 2026 legislative session were:
1. Faith and Joseph Cragun, from Paragon, who are homeschooled; and
2. Alayna Schroeter, from Crawfordsville, who attends Crawfordsville High School.
