The REES at 100 North Michigan Street in Plymouth is presenting three nights of live music as it wraps up “Celebrating the Arts” week in honor of the second anniversary of its grand reopening.
Spend Wednesday, Oct. 2, on Island Time. Don Middlebrook and The Pearl Divers will take everyone on a unique musical journey during their “A Night in the Islands.” Middlebrook brings “Jimmy Buffett” island vibes to the stage and original songs with touches of Americana, country, and rock ‘n’ roll. The music begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $45 for balcony seating.
Enjoy a little “Wine & Symphony” on Thursday, Oct. 3, as The REES hosts a special happy hour featuring the South Bend Symphony-to-Go string quintet. Biddle Point/Forty-One North will serve wine and nosh for this adults-only event. Each $20 ticket includes one beverage. This special early evening event runs from 5-7 p.m.
James Taylor tribute artist Bill Griese returns on Friday. Griese combines the music of the six-time Grammy winner with stories behind Taylor's music for a refreshing, authentic evening. His spot-on vocals and guitar playing are a respectful homage to an American original.
Prior to the 7:30 p.m. show, The Heartland Arts Center will host a happy hour from 5:30 to 7 p.m., allowing people ample time to stroll one block south to The REES. Tickets are $30 for general admission and $50 for the balcony.
Advanced sale tickets for each event are available online at reestheatre.com, in person at Na Rie Simple Treasures, and at the box office 45 minutes before the show.
