Valerie Diesser is now the new Lead Nurse for the Cardiopulmonary Services Department at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital (LCMH) in Lawrenceville, Ill.
She was promoted this week to the position, according to administrative officials at the medical facility. Diesser was recognized for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and contributions to the department.
She has been involved in the advancement of the hospital's Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs, the improvement of clinical operations and the expansion of access to essential diagnostic and rehab services for patients in Lawrence County and surrounding communities. Under Diesser's leadership, the Cardiac Rehab program at LCMH has achieved impressive results in 2026.
She also serves as a key member of the department's leadership team.
