The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department (LCSD) arrested two Sumner residents this week.
Both 27-year-old Austin Vowells and 41-year-old Vowells were charged Wednesday with Domestic Battery after an altercation at a Sumner residence. Both were transported to the Lawrence County Jail and were later booked in and being held pending detention hearings.
Deputies Wednesday picked up a wanted southwestern Indiana woman Wednesday. Taken into custody was 66-year-old Gail Pruitt of Washington who was charged with Probation Violation. She was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held there pending a detention hearing.
