Lawrence County Clerk and Election Authority Will Gibson has announced that the election ballot placement lottery will be on Monday, May 4th.
It will be held at 10 a.m. CT in the county clerk's office located in the Lawrence County Courthouse in downtown Lawrenceville.
The ballot placement lottery is the process that is conducted to determine the position placement of candidate names by political party affiliation on the official ballot for the upcoming November 3rd, 2026, election. Candidates for local elective office are invited to attend, and the general public is also welcome to attend.
