It was a historic day in Lawrenceville Sunday. The American Legion Auxiliary Lawrence Unit 28 celebrated 100 years of existence.
The occasion was highlighted with a recognition dinner at the Lawrenceville American Legion Post located at 1111 Walnut Street. Among the dignitaries on hand for the affair was Lawrenceville Mayor David Courtney, local and state Legion officials and guest speaker Sharon Conatser-past national president of the American Legion Auxiliary. She had high praise for the continuing work of the auxiliary and it’s members who serve veterans, veteran’s families, children and youth throughout the community.
