On Thursday just after 11 p.m., Deputy Ash with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the area of Michigan and Harrison Streets. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 46-year-old Todd Whitteberry of Lakeville.
Whitteberry was found to have an Indiana Driver's License with the status of Suspended with a Prior Conviction. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked in for driving while suspended with a prior conviction as a Class A Misdemeanor and held on a $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
