The Lakeville Fire Department is inviting everyone to come out for a pancake breakfast this Saturday, May 16, for a morning of food, fun, and a chance to support local first responders.
The event gives residents an opportunity to meet the dedicated men and women who serve the community every day, tour the fire station, and take a close look at the department's apparatus. Door prizes will be given away throughout the morning, adding an extra layer of excitement for attendees of all ages.
The breakfast is an at-will donation event, meaning no purchase is required to attend. However, all donations — large or small — will go directly toward the purchase of a Side-by-Side emergency response vehicle. The specialized vehicle will help the department better respond to emergencies in difficult or unconventional terrain and situations.
