Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District (LAFPD) were mobilized this past weekend.
They responded in mutual aid, along with the Christy Fire Protection District to help the Bridgeport Fire Protection District with a structure fire early Monday. No details were immediately available regarding the fire, a cause or any injuries.
The district also responded Sunday to assist the Denison Fire Protection District with downed power lines and provided a lift assist in Lawrenceville with the Lawrence County Ambulance Service.
