A dirt bike rider was seriously injured in a Friday accident.
Just after 7 p.m., officers of the Kokomo Police Department were dispatched to 1936 Windsor Drive for a serious injury accident involving an electric dirt bike. They arrived to find a Stark electric dirt bike had struck the residence at that address.. A subject, identified as Dylan James, of Kokomo, was found suffering from a severe head injury, and was unresponsive.
James was taken from the scene to St. Vincent Kokomo Hospital where he was then transported to Indianapolis by helicopter for immediate medical treatment
This case remains under investigation.
