A Vincennes man is in custody after a police chase in Knox County Indiana Thursday morning. The Knox County Sheriffs Department reports that deputies spotted 24 year old Jacob Heiden-Waterhouse at a Bicknell convienience store. He was wanted on a Knox County warrant for Felony Probation Violation. Heiden-Waterhouse then fled the scene on Indiana State Road 67 south to U.S. 41 with officers in pursuit. He was spotted throwing some items out of his vehicle during the chase before the pickup truck he was in veered off the road and into a concrete barrier. Heiden-Waterhouse then attempted to escape on foot, but was captured. He was taken to the Lawrence County Jail and was booked in on charges of Reckless Driving, Resisting Law Enforcement and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
