A Rochester woman had an arrest warrant served by United States Marshals on Wednesday and has been charged with dealing and possessing meth.
According to the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, the United States Marshals Service and officers with the Rochester Police Department executed search warrant on Anna Clemons, 25, of Rochester, around 9:00 p.m. on July 8 at a residence in rural Fulton County.
Clemons was eventually located and taken into custody on an active Fulton County arrest warrant. It was reported she had failed to appear for a scheduled sentencing hearing after previously being convicted on charges of dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
Clemons had been the focus of a Fulton County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigation that resulted in criminal charges for dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine in 2025. Sheriff Travis W. Heishman praised the coordinated efforts that led to Clemons' apprehension.
"This arrest is the result of outstanding teamwork and a shared commitment to public safety among the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, the United States Marshals Service, and the Rochester Police Department. From the initial drug investigation through the successful execution of the arrest warrant, every agency involved demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and exceptional police work. When law enforcement agencies work together toward a common goal, we are able to hold offenders accountable and make our communities safer," said Sheriff Travis W. Heishman.
The Fulton County Sheriff's Office extended its appreciation to the United States Marshals Service and RPD for their assistance and continued partnership in bringing this case to a successful conclusion.
