The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Billy J. Burden, 35, South Bend, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was picked up at the Starke County Jail and held on a $200 cash bond.

• Lisa A. Castleman, 46, Plymouth, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at Burns Tire and Alignment, Macy, and held without bond.

• Clifford E. Reffitt, 63, 705 E. Fourth St., Rochester, was arrested Wednesday on a preliminary charge of battery against a public safety official engaged in official duty. He was taken into custody by city police at 1119 Pontiac St. and held without bond. A homeowner reported that he was on their porch yelling for help and banging on all the windows. Court records indicate that he had been released from jail on his own recognizance in mid-November in a case for which he faces six felony counts of possession of child pornography. A jury trial that was to commence in that case on Thursday, Dec. 5, has been rescheduled for March 12, 2025, in Fulton Superior Court.

• Charles P. Richardson, 65, 300 E. Fourth St., Apt. 1B, Rochester, was arrested Wednesday on a preliminary charge of battery against a public safety official engaged in official duty. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at 7129 E. 500 North and held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond.
