An inmate has escaped from the Cass County Community Corrections Facility in Logansport.
Just before 3:00 p.m. Sunday, the Cass County Sheriff’s office reports that Scott Pearson, 49, of Logansport, fled Community Corrections after being informed he was being transferred to the county’s Detention Center for rule violations. Pearson drove away in a white 2015 Ford Escape with Indiana license plate DVT492. He removed his ankle monitoring device and discarded it in the 1400 block of Michigan Avenue in Logansport.
Pearson was serving a three-year sentence for possession of methamphetamine.
