Good news for Vincennes motorists.
The Indiana Department of Transportation Friday announced that 6th Street in Vincennes has been reopened to vehicular traffic. It had been closed as part of the ongoing road improvement project near Good Samaritan Hospital.
The project is now moving into its next phase with Willow Street being closed starting on Tuesday, May 27. The street will be shut down from 6th Street to 10th Street with work expected to take about three weeks, depending on weather conditions and other construction factors.
