Officers with the Plymouth Police Department responded to Pizza Hut at 1919 N. Michigan Street on Tuesday, December 9th at 6:15 p.m. following a report of a fight in progress.
Upon arrival, the restaurant manager informed officers that a male customer was attempting to fight him after being refused additional alcohol service. The individual was identified as Bryan Pedigo, 54, of Indianapolis, who appeared to be highly intoxicated upon arrival at the restaurant.
Pedigo had left the scene before officers arrived and was subsequently located at a nearby Burger King, where he was causing a disturbance inside the establishment. Pedigo resisted officers during the arrest but was taken into custody without injury.
He was transported to Marshall County Jail and booked on charges of: public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, and intimidation.
This marks Pedigo's second arrest within three days. Plymouth Police previously arrested him on December 7th for public intoxication. He was released from Marshall County Jail on December 8th after posting a cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
