In a release, Representative Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) said, “Indiana is earning national recognition as a leader in rethinking high school.”

A new nationwide report from the nonpartisan XQ Institute highlights Indiana as a model for preparing students for life after graduation.

Jordan said, “The study recognizes Indiana's efforts to create seamless pathways from high school to career, college, or military service, including awarding credit for real-world learning and implementing new readiness seals aligned with students' future goals.”

This builds on news that Indiana's 2025 graduation rate set a new state record and was the third consecutive year of improvement. Indiana also remains a leader in school choice, expanding its Choice Scholarship Program to all Hoosier families starting with the 2026-27 school year.
