City police arrested an Illinois woman on Tuesday after officers found over 29 grams of marijuana in her vehicle.
Officer Fisher of the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 30 west of Oak Drive on Tuesday for a vehicle traveling at 73 mph in a 50-mph zone.
While Officer Fisher was talking to the driver, 43-year-old Dora Barraza there was an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
The Plymouth K9 Officer and his partner, Castor, arrived on the scene for a free air sniff and indicated a positive alert on the vehicle. During the search, 29.6 grams of marijuana was located in the vehicle.
Barraza was arrested for possession of marijuana and booked into the Marshall County Jail, and 38 minutes later posted a cash bond and was released.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
