County police arrested an Illinois man after being dispatched to the Swan Lake Golf Course for a physical domestic situation.
On Saturday, July 6th at about 4:45 in the afternoon county deputies were called to the golf course for a physical altercation.
Following an investigation and talking to witnesses the suspect, 61-year-old Eugene Cecconi of Plainfield, IL was taken into custody for domestic battery and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
