TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) - A traffic accident this morning had police out at the intersection of US Highways 40 and 46.
The crash happened when a vehicle reportedly veered off of the road and collided with a tree. Paramedics were quickly on the scene and attempted to aid one victim, who had significant injuries. Life-saving measures were taken, and the victim was transported to a local hospital. The victims died at the hospital hours after the accident. No names have been released from the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
