The Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call after an infant had been bitten by a dog in the 13,000 block of 4th Road on Sunday, June 29th at 9:40 p.m.
While the caller was on the phone with dispatchers, he informed them that a physical domestic fight was happening in the house.
Marshall County deputies arrived on the scene and began an investigation. It was found that Janette Hathaway, 52, who lives at the 4th Road address in Plymouth, had battered another member of the household.
Hathaway was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail for domestic battery-adult against family or a member less than 14. Her cash bond was set at $1,500.
The child bitten by the dog was taken for medical treatment by family members.
