The Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission (GWRPC) Board of Directors elected officers for 2026 at their meeting in March in Albion.
All four of the current officers were re-elected to one-year terms. Rob Annis from Richland County returns as Chairman, David Savage of Wayne County as Vice-Chairman, Scott Merkle of Wayne County as Secretary and Randy Hallam of Edwards County as Treasurer.
The GWRPC serves seven counties in southeastern Illinois with local, regional and area project planning, help with obtaining and administering grant funding and promoting solutions to regional problems and issues of concern.
The seven counties served include Lawrence, Crawford, Edwards, Richland, Wabash, Wayne and White.
