It was announed this week that Gualtieri’s Bakery, 420 E Ninth St, Rochester, will be closing its doors this month permanently.
According to a social media post from the Gualtieri’s Bakery’s Facebook page the bakery’s final day of business will be Friday, Jan. 30.
“What started as a dream turned into something far bigger because of you. Your support, your kind words, your early-morning visits, your celebrations, traditions, and loyalty meant more to us than we can ever put into words. This bakery has been built on love, family, and community, and we are endlessly grateful for every person who walked through our doors,“ stated the post about the community support the business has received over the years.
The business owners are asking those who have gift cards for Gualtieri’s Bakery to use them before closing day on Jan. 30.
Their remaining hours are Thursday and Friday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
