The community is invited to support the Non-Food Pantry at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church by enjoying a child supper this Friday.
The Non-Food Pantry began in 2011 and is available to those in need on the first or third Wednesday of each month from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Items offered cannot be obtained with the FDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The non-food pantry is stocked with paper products, soaps, and personal hygiene items, including diapers and wipes. Clients are permitted to visit the pantry once a month and may select up to eight items for their use.
The fundraising chili supper will be served this Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the church’s Parish Hall at 400 North Center Street in Plymouth. There will be a variety of chilis to choose from, along with all the toppings, including sour cream, cheese, Fritos, and more. They will also have corn bread and crackers, and don’t forget dessert, too.
Tickets are $10 in advance through the St. Thomas Episcopal Church Facebook page or $12 at the door.
