Fulton County Republicans host annual Lincoln Dinner

Fulton County Republicans gathered at the Elks Lodge in Rochester on Saturday for the annual Lincoln Dinner. 

Hosted by the Fulton County Republican Party, several speakers joined the event. Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita was the first to speak, urging attendees to vote during the upcoming elections to help strengthen their party. 

State Comptroller Elise Nieshalla was second to speak during the dinner, expressing her love for her current leadership she says has been guided by her conservative values led by faith, family, fiscal responsibility and freedom. 

Nieshalla helped endorse Republican candidate Max Engling, who is running for Secretary of State in the November election.

Engling also spoke during the dinner. Among the values he highlighted, Engling spoke on his goal toward improving election integrity when it came to ensuring only U.S Citizens vote in Indiana elections and the importance of protection of voter confidence and integrity for voters. 

Engling also pointed out the need to crack down on business-filing fraud, that would screen business filings to push back on shell companies that register identical LLCs to defraud customers, avoid regulations and employ dangerous truck drivers on the road.

 An auction wrapped up the evening, with tickets bring in around $1750 being raised from items donated that goes towards the Fulton County Republican Party.
