The calendar has rolled over to September, and that can only mean one thing -- First Friday in Greencastle.
MainStreet Greencastle's annual event will take place Friday, Sept. 5, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Greencastle.
The September event will feature the 2025 Green Light Art Festival, which will showcase more than 15 Hoosier artists and the festival is made possible through the support of Putnam County Comprehensive Services and Green Light Art Studios, which is a division of PCCS and supports those in the community with disabilities.
"First Fridays are about celebrating the people, culture and creativity that make Greencastle shine. We are thrilled to host the Green Light Art Festival downtown as part of our September event," MainStreet Greencastle Executive Director Kate Knaul said.
This month's musical acts include Mullet Over on the Courthouse steps, Toasted Coconuts on the Indiana Street Stage and Derek Chastain and Friends at the corner of Franklin and Vine streets.
