Fall’s official start begins this weekend, along with Walkerton’s 16th annual Falloween Fest.
This FREE 3-day festival is scheduled from Friday afternoon, September 20, through Sunday evening, September 22nd, on the John Glenn High School campus.
The school grounds are transformed into a mini–Blueberry Festival with something for everyone. Whether you like carnival rides, fantastic food options, a grand parade, a variety of entertainment, crafters, or fireworks, Falloween Fest is the place to be.
Huesman Amusements from Shelbyville, IN, will bring at least 17 quality carnival rides for the kids. Whether they are little or big, they will have a great time. Advance one-day wristbands are available through Friday for $25. They are sold at all John Glenn Schools and Everwise locations in Plymouth and Walkerton. One-day wristbands are also available as Falloween for $30 on Friday, $33 on Saturday, and $30 on Sunday.
A mega pass wristband is also available for $68 for all three days of Falloween. These are sold until noon at all John Glenn Schools and Everwise locations in Plymouth and Walkerton. Mega pass wristbands are only pre-festival and won’t be available at Falloween.
Falloween Fest proceeds help to provide student scholarships, school organizations, clubs, and athletics. Area church groups and civic organizations also benefit from Falloween. To date, over $600,000 has been raised for student scholarships. Over 385 student scholarships have been awarded.
