Early voting begins today

Marshall County voters looking to beat the Election Day rush can head to the polls starting today. Early voting for the upcoming May Primary Election officially opens today, Tuesday, April 7, marking the beginning of a 28-day window for residents to cast their ballots.

In Indiana, no excuse is required to vote early, meaning any registered voter can take advantage of the flexible schedule. The early voting period will run until noon on Monday, May 4—the day before Primary Election Day.

The primary hub for early voting is the Marshall County Clerk's Office, located at 211 W. Madison Street in Plymouth.

• Weekday Hours: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Ending at noon on May 4).
• Saturday Hours: The Clerk's Office will also be open for weekend voting on Saturday, April 25, and Saturday, May 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

To make voting more accessible for residents across the county, election officials have also set up two special Saturday satellite voting locations:

• Voters can cast their ballots at the Bremen Missionary Church (2958 Elm Road) on Saturday, April 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Early voting will be available at the Culver School Administration Building (700 School Street) on Saturday, May 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Voters are reminded to bring a valid photo ID, such as an Indiana driver's license, Indiana state ID, U.S. passport, or military ID, when heading to the polls.
