Sunday morning July 7th at about 1 Plymouth Police responded to the 2,000 block of Westgate Avenue for an active domestic disturbance.
The suspect was determined to be Dustin Ehlinger, 32 of Plymouth. Ehlinger was alleged to have spit on the victim while screaming and yelling in the presence of a young child.
Dustin Ehlinger had to be taken to the Plymouth Hospital for jail clearance due to his level of intoxication before being transported to the Marshall County Jail. Ehlinger was lodged for felony Domestic Battery.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
