The Marshall County Drug Task Force, assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff's Department and Plymouth Police Department, executed a search warrant early Sunday morning at the Economy Inn, resulting in two arrests.
Officers conducted the raid at 2:30 a.m. on January 18 following an investigation into suspected drug activity at the motel. The operation led to the arrests of Anna Clemons, 24, and Brent Hessler, 33.
During the search, investigators recovered suspected methamphetamine, hypodermic syringes, and drug paraphernalia.
Hessler was found to have an active warrant for his arrest stemming from a parole violation from the original charge of dealing methamphetamine.
Both suspects were transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Anna Clemons was booked for: possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia. Her cash bond was set at $7,500.

Brent Hessler was booked for: possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia. Hessler also had an active warrant for a parole violation on the original charge of dealing methamphetamine.
Hessler is being held on a $10,000 cash bond for the new charges and is held without bond on the warrant.
