Clay County has now added a new drug take back box.
The country is coming up on another nation-wide drug takeback day and Clay County has now established a way to match the countries' effort to eliminate the possession of unwanted or unused medications.
The box is located at the Clay County Sheriff's Department Office and it is open 24 hours a day. The actual drug takeback day is scheduled for April 27th. Clay County will still hold a drop off event held at the Clay County Justice Center from 10 am to Noon.
