The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two-vehicle crash that sent both drivers to the hospital.
Crews responded to the intersection of E State 44 and 325 E. Dale Jeffries, of Shelbyville, was advancing from a stop at 325 East in a 1996 Jeep. The sheriff’s department report says Verle Bailey, 54, of Carlisle, Indiana, was traveling on East SR 44. Jeffries’ Jeep pulled into the path of Bailey’s 1992 Ford pickup.
The pickup then left the road and rolled once.
Both men were transported to IU Health Methodist for medical treatment.
The Shelbyville Fire Department and medics also responded to the scene.
