On Monday morning, September 15th, the Marshall County Drainage Board, the County Commissioners, and the Board of Finance will meet in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.
The Drainage Board meeting is at 8:30 a.m. and includes consideration of a variance request on the Newcomb-Eisenhour Ditch for Crossroads Church on Oak Drive.
The Commissioner’s meeting begins at 9:30 and includes a report from the Highway Superintendent and an update from the Marshall County Museum. The County Health Department will present the agreement for a PHEP Grant, while the Plan Director will present an ordinance on Carbon Sequestration and one for an alley vacation.
The County Attorney will discuss a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the use of drones purchased with Public Safety Grant funds for the county's fire departments. The Commissioners' Items include consideration of a grant agreement for a Court Interpreter, an ordinance to establish the CASA program as a county department, establishing an EPIC Fund, and discussion of the lease expiration for Community Corrections.
Following the Commissioners' meeting, the Board of Finance will meet at approximately 10:30. They will discuss the interest earned.
