Discover Plymouth invites the community to kick off the holiday season with the beloved 8th Annual Holiday Scavenger Hunt on Friday, November 28, and Saturday, November 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in beautiful downtown Plymouth.
This year’s theme, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” brings a festive twist to the hunt. Participants will explore local shops and businesses, matching a classic holiday song—featured on a 45 rpm record—to its corresponding business. It’s a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate the season, support local merchants, and experience the magic of downtown.
Ballots can be picked up at any participating business, and once completed, should be turned in at your final stop. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
Three exciting prizes will be awarded:
๐ 1st Prize: $250
๐ 2nd Prize: $100
๐ 3rd Prize: $50
The fun continues on Saturday evening with the annual City of Plymouth Holiday Light Parade at 6:00 p.m., where families can follow Santa through downtown all the way to River Park Square. There, guests can enjoy festive carols, warm hot cocoa, and watch the mayor officially “light up” the Christmas trees for the season.
In addition, the Marshall County Museum will be alive with holiday spirit—featuring running model trains, special live musical performances, and seasonal surprises for visitors of all ages. The Heartland Art Center and the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce will also be hosting Ornament-Making stations from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. for all ages at no cost.
Discover Plymouth encourages everyone to Shop, Eat, and Discover all that our vibrant community has to offer during this memorable holiday weekend.
