A Plymouth man was arrested on Saturday, March 16th after a traffic stop for a moving violation.
On March 16th, at approximately 9:30, a Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy conducted a traffic stop near Oak Road and Jim Neu Drive. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kevin Diaz, 33 of Pennsylvania Avenue in Plymouth.
Diaz was found to be operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and has a prior conviction.
A Plymouth Police Officer assisted during the traffic stop and took Diaz into custody. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operator Never Licensed-Prior.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
