Joseph Day was the only Republican candidate for Wednesday night’s caucus for the open seat on the Culver Town Council.  The seat was vacated when Justin Croy moved out of the Culver town limits.

During the caucus, Day told the precinct members he is a dedicated member of the Culver community.  He said, “I’m running to bring a strong, solution-focused voice to the council, one that listens, represents, and acts in the best interest of all residents.”  He went on, “Culver is a town with deep roots and great potential, and I believe in preserving what makes our town special while also planning smartly for a better future.”

Day is a school physical therapist and athletic physical therapist with Culver Community Schools.

During his conversation, he told the precinct committee members his priorities include supporting small businesses and local economic development, strengthening community services, including public safety and infrastructure, promoting responsible growth that respects Culver’s character, and encouraging civic engagement and open communication between town leadership and residents.

Day closed his comments saying, “I’m not a career politician, I’m a neighbor, a listener, and a problem solver. Together, let’s build a stronger Culver, one decision at a time.”
