The Lawrenceville-Red Hill cross country Indians competed as individuals in the Broadway Bolt meet held Wednesday in Mattoon over a three-mile varsity course.
Both the boys and girls teams did not have enough members for a team score.
Taylorville won the boys competition with 15 points with Charleston second with 55, Mt. Zion third with 103 and host Mattoon fourth with 108. The top Indian finisher was senior Braydan Morrison, who was 11th overall in a time of 16:27. Liam Bettis of Taylorville was first in 14:22.7.
The girls meet was won by Mt. Zion with 38 points followed by Mattoon with 55, Taylorville was third with 84 and Robinson fourth with 95. The top Lady Indian finisher was freshman Lexi Brooke who was 18th in a time of 21:17.6. Freshman Finley Hering was 20th in a time of 21:26.6. Elayna Harker of Taylorville won the race in 17:40.4.
The Indians will next run in the Little Illini Conference (LIC) meet Tuesday.
