Marshall County Police released additional information on the evening of Friday, September 12th, regarding the crash on U.S. 31 at State Road 10.
The Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a call about a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of U.S. 31 and State Road 10. Argos Police arrived and reported multiple injured patients.
The investigation into the crash revealed that the 2021 Toyota Corolla, driven by 47-year-old Joshua Brett of Shoals, Indiana, had attempted to cross northbound traffic and failed to yield. His vehicle was struck by a northbound 2017 Ford F-150 driven by Daniel Chamberlin of Plymouth.
There were three occupants in the Corolla, the driver and two children were transported to Memorial Hospital in serious, life-threatening conditions.
The sole occupant of the pickup truck, Daniel Chamberlin, was transported to Plymouth Hospital for additional care.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by Argos Police, Fire, and EMS; Plymouth EMS; Bourbon EMS; Parkview EMS; Lutheran Air Ambulance; MedFlight Air Ambulance; Reichert-Knepp Towing; and Lyons Wrecker Service.
