Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Walkerton on Saturday, March 29th after being dispatched to Creekside Manor for a civil complaint.
At approximately 2:30 on Saturday afternoon, Deputy Smith responded to a civil complaint at 2662 Michigan Road in LaPaz.
While responding to the complaint, police were advised that the situation had escalated.
Once on the scene, Officer Smith began an investigation that led to the arrest of twenty-nine-year-old Abigail Renee Enders, who had a booking address of Tecumseh Road in Walkerton. Enders was arrested for Battery, a B misdemeanor, and residential entry, a level 6 felony. She was held in the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
