Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to a call referencing a problem at a residence on 4A Road in Plymouth Saturday evening at about 10:30.
Officers responded and discovered that a domestic situation was occurring. 39-year-old Dareen Masterson and 57-year-old Douglas Masterson of the 11,000 block of 4A Road were both arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

The Mastersons were each booked into the county jail for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16. They both bonded out on Sunday evening.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
